There was, for once, a real script that we actually remembered to bring with us during the filming of the video. Rizzotti edited his copy of the script extensively so his lines would match up with mine length-wise, however. Before filming began, Peter wasted his time setting up a Monopoly board with houses, properly distributed money, etc, on the table to make it look like we were playing a game of Monopoly. But, the angle of the camera made it impossible to see the game or any of the pieces. Peter claims it was intentional and the game was there to "set the mood".
Fun facts
- If you look closely, you'll notice Travis forgot to put on his shoes.
- In the wide shots, you can slightly see Peter's legs/feet reflected in the fireplace glass cover.
- We attempted to remove the big tree on the right from the set, but it was nailed into the wall. Peter is still angry.
- Peter's original idea was to take three cameras and film the whole video with the three different angles in real time. However, it would have taken days to perform all the dialogue without either actor fucking up.
- Zorn's original title was "The Conversationist", which was then changed to "The Conversationists" by Rizzotti, then "The Conversationalists" by Travis, then finally "The Conversationalisticans" by Rizzotti again

"I was there for five minutes but I was tired so I left. Also the voices were really annoying because I was trying to sleep." -Mike "I really enjoyed making this one. However, we actually had to memorize lines, and I wasn't totally satisfied with the delivery of some of my own lines." -Travis "I like the movie." -Zorn "If anyone can tell me what line was stolen from Citizen Kane, I'll give them a dollar." -Peter "I like how this video turned out and I wish I had more kissing scenes with Travis." -Rizzotti
